The county believes that the once dominant Gaithersburg team is ready to regain the top spot with favorites in 5 events.
Between December 8 and December 10, MoCoRunning.com conducted an open online poll. The poll results are just to see what the general audience thinks and it is just for fun. Participants were instructed to select their favorites in each event and rank the top teams for the indoor county championship meet. Roughly 71 valid votes were used.

Below you will find the results. The county champion favorites are listed with the percentage of people that voted for them.

I'm guessing private schools weren't taken into account because I would call Ramsey Chapin the best miler in the county.

If you don't know anyone in this poll then you've lost all credibility. Graham, Haughton, Haile, Palmer, Stanley, Ekpone, Durr and Doll already have at least one state title, and they are likely to do it again.

Well the Long Jump Poll result is SO WRONG. Anthony Young Wiseman got 3rd during Outdoor at states jumping around a 21-10. And looking at this guy from NW, theres just no chance. 19-06? Not that that's bad, but every person from States who beat Wiseman graduated, and the 4th place person did, so the fields kind of open for him.

Hassan Dixon jumped 21' 11.75" at the USATF Junior Olympic Regionals this summer with the Maryland Titans. You can also look up what he did with Good Counsel prior to transferring to Northwest.

Will you please stop comparing Owen Cain to Hassan Dixon. Do you have any idea how much younger Hassan is? Kevin is accurate about Hassan jumping 21' 11.75" at the USATF Junior Olympic Association meet... At that same meet, Owen Cain only jump 20' 7.25".... Now, who BEAT who?? (Hassan was 15 when he did that!) Look at the results for yourself at... It's just a poll and may not best person win... I've seen Hassan jump and if he doesn't foul, he will win... the kid is just a junior, but he's got some ups on him.... he almost flies when he jumps.... I ain't no homo, but man, I want to be like him!!!
