What is most amazing to me is that while the top level talent on the boys side is as deep as it may be ever, but it took over 120 points to win the title. Many teams had very good one through three or four runners but this year's team competition was all about the 5th runner.

forgot to mention...anxious to see the results from the 4A/3A west regionals at Watkins Mill. The WM course has been around since the early 90's and has seen some of the greatest runners of all time put up fantastic performances. While weather and conditions can be a factor to what times are put up, it will be the closest thing that we have to compare this years outstanding crop of boys versus those of 20 years ago and more (assuming that the race is honest and not a sit and kick contest).
