Indoor Track County Championship Predictions Competition 2009
Premise: Correctly predict as many of the county champions as possible and submit your best team ranking for the Montgomery County Championship Meet.
Results: Carlos Cantarilho won the overall prediction competition with 153 points. The prize for winning the predictions competition is a $50 gift certificate to Georgetown Running Company stores in Chevy Chase, Maryland, and Washington D.C. Carlos had the best girls team rankings in the competition by correctly predicting the first five teams in order and coming close on the next five. kpmilsted, Bigo, T-master, and clark kent tied with 10 correct picks in the boys individual predictions. Bigo had the most correct girls individual picks with 11. Owen cain had the best boys team predictions by correctly predicting the places of six of the top eight teams.

Scoring: 5 points will be awarded for each correct pick. 0 points will be awarded for each incorrect county champion. 3 points will be awarded if your team pick was one place off. For example, if your team pick for 5th place finishes 6th or 4th, you will receive 3 points. 1 point will be awarded if your pick was two places off. Selecting "other" allows you to pick the entire field that is not listed as an option. A correct "other" prediction is worth double the points. For example, if you select "other" for the 800m Run and some breakout athlete wins it, you will receive 10 points.
Your Predictions: To participate, you must enter a name for the MoCoRunning crown leaderboard at the top of the form. It is to your advantage to entirely fill out the form, but you do not have to. Do not pick the same team more than once in the team ranking. Doing so will void your submission.
Prizes: The winner of the overall prediction competition will receive a $50 gift certificate to the Georgetown Running Company. More importantly, the winner will receive 1 "mocorunning crown." Winners of each field will receive a quarter crown.
