52 Fans voted for female individuals in Mocorunning's Preseason Cross Country Poll. Below are the composite results of that poll.

10. Kat McNeill, B-CC 2015
Poll Points: 100
2011 County Finish: 10
2011 4A West Region Finish: 13
2011 4A State Finish: 32


McNeill ran 19:40.5 for a 10th place finish at last year's county championship. She did not run track, but she recently placed 9th overall (2nd in her age group) at the Jamestown Triathlon.

9. Abby Fry, B-CC 2015

Fry finished 3rd for B-CC at the regional and state meets last year. She ran the 3200m in 11:56.49 to finish 9th at the outdoor county championship.

Beautz ran personal best track times of 5:18 and 11:21 in her freshman year. She will be running cross country for the first time.

Sheppard set personal bests in the 800m (2:20.61), 1600m (5:20.68), and 5k (19:47) in her sophomore year. She also anchored the outdoor state-winning 4x800 relay.

D'Ottavi is a two-time top 15 finisher at all three championship meets: counties, regions, and states. She is also the two-time winner of the MCPS Consortia Championship.

By running the last half of her races harder than the first, McUmber finished in the top ten at the county, region, and state championship meets last year. She ran a personal best 19:12 at the NXN regional meet in North Carolina.

Pennello ran a personal best 19:18.8 at last year's county championship. She is the outdoor 1600m county champion and 2A state runner-up with a personal best time of 5:12.21.

Beakes ran a 20:08 5k enroute to a 30:07 4.75 mile Devil Takes the Hindmost victory last March. She is the outdoor 3200m county champion and owns this year's top returning time of 11:20.19. She will be running cross country for the first time this season.

2. Abbey Daley, Clarksburg 2013

Daley is the only senior on this list as voted on by fans. She was last year's indoor 1600m county champ and is a three-time indoor track state champ. When asked last week about the younger talent coming up in Montgomery County, Daley said, "It doesn't matter if they are freshmen or seniors. They are all great runners. They are competition."

Srour is the defending cross country county champion with a personal best time of 18:25.4. She won the 1600m indoor state title and ran her personal best 5:10.14 at the outdoor state championship. She received 36 of 52 first place fan votes in this poll.

Tie breaker question: Fans were asked to predict the county championship winning time. The average response was 18:39.84.
