By season's end, the Walter Johnson boys and Whitman girls swept county, region and state titles, but neither team can claim a perfect season. The Northwest girls took down Whitman girls by one point with a score of 27 to 28. Churchill outscored the Walter Johnson boys 27 to 30.
Division II was highly competitive this year with some of the most unpredictable matchups. The B-CC girls were selected as underdogs several times but always came away victorious. The Sherwood boys also emerged as division champs.
